“Nikola Tesla” Belgrade airport is going to reduce costs of its services for air carriers by approximately 5 percent.
More accurately, the aircraft landing fee has been reduced by 5 percent while the usage of the airport infrastructure is to become 4 percent cheaper.
This is the third successive reduction of the Belgrade airport services’ prices this year.
The objective of the new pricing policy is to attract new air carriers maintaining the record air traffic growth in the region. The Belgrade airport has serviced one million passengers in the first eight months of 2012.
A large number of European air carriers use services of “Nikola Tesla” airport. Since the European Union lifted travel restrictions for the citizens of Serbia, the number of low cost airliners that included Belgrade into their list of itineraries has been growing steadily.
