Gas pipeline exploded at the outskirts of Belgrade this morning around 7.30. Flames that appeared after the explosion soared up to 40 meters in height.
Luckily nobody was injured because that part of the pipeline is not located near any apartment buildings.
Noise which followed the explosion woke up residents of the Petlovo brdo neighborhood.
Fire brigade was sent to the scene, which managed to put the fire under control after three hours, and then extinguish it. Due to safety measures, they will remain for some time at the location.
Sector for emergency situations ensures citizens that there is no danger that the fire will spread, and that the population is safe.
