In the last 125 years since temperatures have been measured in Serbia, the average temperature for March is 6,9 degrees Celsius, and the agronomists are worried that the early temperature rise could cause problems in early ripening of fruits and vegetables.
The absolute temperature record high in March is 30 degrees, measured on March 30th 1952. The coldest day in March was measured in 1890, when the temperature dropped down to minus 16,3 degrees.
